The beneficiary criteria of the C-ESSN Project are determined in line with the project requirements, the evaluations of the funding provider European Union and the implementing institutions the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Türk Kızılay, and change from time to time in accordance with the conditions. However, in the most general terms, C-ESSN beneficiaries are determined by the system as the most vulnerable households because they cannot be referred to livelihoods. All information about the project is announced on the KIZILAYKART website and Facebook page.
Assistance is provided to households that meet the criteria and are eligible for the C-ESSN Project. A monthly assistance of TRY 700 is uploaded to KIZILAYKART for each household member.
If the household has at least one of the disability health board reports listed below, TRY 2,400 severe disability assistance is provided in addition to the C-ESSN assistance amount each month for each individual whose report is submitted. Relevant disability health board reports are as follows:
• “Severely Disabled” (the term used for adults in older reports)
• “Fully Dependent” (expression used for adults in new reports)
For kids:
• “Has a Very Severe Special Requirement”
• “Has a Prominent Special Requirement”
• “Special Condition Requirement”
Within the scope of the C-ESSN Project, no additional payments are made other than monthly payments. C-ESSN Project provides support to households that are in the most vulnerable situation because they cannot be referred to the livelihoods. In this context, the monthly assistance provided per capita has been kept slightly higher than that of ESSN Project beneficiaries, considering the ability of C-ESSN beneficiaries to meet their basic needs. For this reason, no additional payments are made to C-ESSN beneficiaries.
